Required consent documents
Mibu
Paid Trip Purchase Consent
This consent applies when purchasing Mibu local partner services. Review it before checking the box and paying.
- The destination area, service dates, paid traveler seats, amount paid by each payer, and final total are those shown at checkout. An order and paid trip are created only after PAYUNi verifies a successful payment.
- A paid trip may include up to 10 paid travelers and one matched local partner. Members share the daily itinerary, group chat, Mini, service map, and SOS case context. The first person who completes payment configures the group, manages invitations, selects the route, and serves as the core contact for support and the partner, but gains no additional location, editing, or SOS rights.
- The local partner provides travel information, text or voice contact, and travel-safety assistance during the agreed service period. The service is not a tour guide, transport, medical, police, fire, consular, insurance, or guaranteed-response rescue service. Contact official local emergency services first in an emergency.
- Refunds are measured from 09:00 local time at the destination on the first service day: cancel at least 72 hours before for 100% of the amount paid; at least 24 but under 72 hours for 50%; under 24 hours but before 00:00 on the first service day for no refund; travelers cannot self-cancel from 00:00 on the first service day. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
- If the original partner fails to perform or is otherwise at serious fault and the traveler qualifies for a full refund, Mibu may send a replacement after refunding the traveler. Mibu bears the replacement cost and partner compensation without charging the traveler again.
- Each member must complete their own required consent and device permissions. Background location and notifications can be managed in system settings. Without permission, an in-app SOS can still be sent manually, but continuous location, proximity alerts, or some safety features may be incomplete.
- Payments are processed by PAYUNi, provided by UNI Digital Technology Co., Ltd. Mibu sends the transaction number, amount, product description, payer email, and other data necessary to complete the transaction. Mibu does not store full payment-card numbers.
Sponsored Traveler Paid Trip Joining Consent
This consent applies when another person has paid for your seat and you are about to join their paid trip. You must still confirm it yourself.
- You accept the destination area, service dates, and paid trip stated in the invitation and agree to join that group. Sponsorship covers payment only; the payer cannot consent to data processing or service terms on your behalf.
- After joining, you share the daily itinerary, group chat, Mini, service map, and SOS case context with the other paid travelers and matched partner. The first payer manages group settings and is only the group’s core contact, with no special rights.
- Group information may be used only for this trip. You must not collect, forward, or use another member’s messages, location, emergency information, or contact details for unrelated purposes.
- In normal use, App settings may control whether your precise location is shown to other members. During an SOS, the system may provide necessary location and case information to fellow travelers, the matched partner, and authorized support staff.
- A traveler joining after service starts receives no separate self-withdrawal or refund right. Any refund due on the original payment is returned to the actual payer. After service ends, the itinerary and group become read-only and partner access ends.
- You understand that the local partner and Mibu SOS do not replace official police, fire, medical, consular, or other emergency services.
Merchant Platform and App Consent
This consent applies when applying for or using a Mibu merchant role, merchant App features, or the merchant website portal.
- You represent that you are authorized to act for the business and will provide truthful, complete, lawful, and verifiable identity, contact, business, and authorization information. Mibu may request evidence, review, reject, or revoke eligibility.
- You are responsible for business descriptions, images, products, prices, hours, coupons, redemption terms, and on-site fulfillment. Content must not be infringing, unlawful, misleading, or impossible to fulfill.
- Account plans and per-store exposure plans are separate subscriptions. The store, features, price, period, payment channel, renewal, and cancellation terms are those shown at purchase and in backend subscription records.
- App subscriptions are charged by the App Store or Google Play. Merchant website subscriptions are processed by PAYUNi, provided by UNI Digital Technology Co., Ltd. The transaction number, amount, product description, payer email, and necessary transaction data are sent to PAYUNi; Mibu does not store full payment-card numbers.
- Customer, transaction, support, and performance data may be handled only within your authorization and for the Mibu merchant service. You must not download, sell, disclose, or use it for unrelated purposes.
- Mibu may restrict, suspend, or terminate merchant access for legal violations, payment problems, false information, infringement, user harm, or platform-rule violations. Outstanding payment, refund, and legal duties remain enforceable.
Local Partner Service and App Consent
This consent applies when applying for, activating, or using a Mibu local partner role and related App features.
- You will provide truthful, complete, and verifiable identity, contact, service-area, language, availability, and qualification information, and accept work only within confirmed capability, area, and capacity.
- During service, you must handle agreed group messages, travel information, and safety support. For an SOS, clearly state within the App’s required time whether you can go and, if so, provide a reasonable ETA. Do not promise arrival, replace official rescue, or provide unlicensed professional services.
- Mibu provides necessary itinerary, group, location, contact, and case data to deliver the service and handle safety events. Use it only for that service; do not retain, copy, forward, publish, or repurpose it, and do not access it after service or authorization ends.
- Partner location is processed as needed for service, boundary checks, and SOS. If required background-location or device permissions are incomplete, you may be unable to start or continue services that need them.
- Compensation follows the effective scoring and settlement rules. Partner-responsible refunds or losses may be offset against unpaid compensation or become repayable. If Mibu sends a replacement after fully refunding the traveler, Mibu-funded subsidy pays the replacement partner so compensation is not reduced to zero because traveler revenue is zero.
- Mibu may review records, traveler feedback, support cases, safety, and eligibility; apply scores; pause new matching; or terminate partner eligibility. Ongoing safety cases must not be interrupted, and applicable appeal opportunities remain available.
- You are responsible for applicable tax, licensing, payment-receipt, and other legal duties where you operate.
